Over 11 years ago, I joined Gold Dragon Tai Chi Academy and ... under the guidance and competence of my masters and, principals of the Academy, Cecilia Chow and Francis Choi, as they will expand my knowledge of many, wonderful art forms of Tai Chi & Qigong. During intensive training sessions in Tai Chi & Tai Chi Sword, Masters Cecilia & Francis teach challenging stretching and, other exercises, to increase physical and mental strength for students. This leads to a marked improvement in mental fitness , physical fitness, agility, balance and endurance. Concentration levels increase dramatically and there will be a marked decrease in many health problems and diseases such as, Hypertension, Arthritis, Diabetes, etc. Tai chi exercise builds the immune system and helps to diminish and/or eliminate ongoing symptoms. I‘ve attended Qigong classes for over 5 years and learn high levels of Meditation to increase body and mind energy, or Qi. Also, how to apply self-healing Acupressure to Acupuncture points, which helps combat and relieve, symptoms of illnesses and disease and relieve stress and anxiety in people of all ages. Prior to Gold Dragon Tai Chi Academy, I took Tai Chi classes with another organisation for 15 months but, soon realised they could not offer, the Instructor Training & personalised Tai Chi lessons, I required - at a venue of my choice. Attending the Academy has dramatically increased my levels of overall fitness, agility, balance and, mental and physical endurance. My concentration levels have increased and there has been a marked decrease in high blood pressure which is stabilised to match a person of, quarter my age. Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed and value the information you taught me at the recent Bone Marrow Cleansing Qigong Workshop. It is a wonderful addition to the Qigong Fundamentals I attended last year and my Tai Chi and healthy eating.

At the age of 20, I couldn’t straight my back when I practiced modern dance.
Now my age (is) 50, I can keep good posture and straight my lower back, which is benefit from Tai Chi practice.
I have regularly learned Tai Chi from our Head Masters, Cecilia & Francis, since Aug 2005. The benefit of course was not just the good posture; I keep my body strength as at age 20 and I can run, jump, kick as when I was young or even better than before. I also experience the Chi(Qi) during and after my Tai Chi practice. I constantly feel good about myself, because I am keeping doing something good to my body.
Cecilia & Francis teach us Tai Chi in a scientific way, all the details are reasonable and explained tirelessly. Thanks for their patience in teaching me. Through Tai Chi training, I have had more confidence about my future fitness to enjoy my life in my older age.

I have been practicing Tai Chi now for around 11 years under the guidance of a number of masters. Dissatisfied with my previous instructors. I made the transition to Gold Dragon Tai Chi Academy. It took a couple of years to fully adjust to the concepts that were being presented to me and I knew, as I was learning them, they were being taught to me in far greater depth and detail than any of my previous masters could teach them. I am now an Assistant Instructor in the Academy and would like to be a fully accredited instructor in the Academy. Both Head Coaches complement each other very well in their expertise and teaching abilities. The breadth and depth of their knowledge of Tai Chi concepts are exceptional. I don’t think I’ll ever find a coaching couple as competent as Sifu Francis Choi and Sifu Cecilia Chow.

I have been doing the instructor and competition training sessions with Francis and Cecilia for nearly 3 years. These more intensive sessions involve stretching and strength training as well as more detailed instruction on the theory and practice of Tai Chi.
